Mushroom Burgers!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped fresh mushrooms

  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1/2 cup Panko or dry bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, feta or soft cheese

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (1/2 whole wheat, white) or chickpea flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/4 teaspoon Montréal Steak Spices

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 4 hamburger buns or Sourdough bread

  • 4 lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Shape into four 3/4-in.-thick patties.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add burgers; cook until crisp and lightly browned, 4 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with lettuce and, if desired, other condiments.
